HRA's Medical Trends in Hospital Formulary Committee Study
was developed to help identify early trends and changes in marketshare
of hospital products within every major drug class. The monthly
syndicated report provides initial formulary uptake information
of new products and tracks formulary status changes of existing
products.
From a baseline formulary status for existing products
in a class to monthly reporting on every product addition, deletion,
tabled decision and drug restriction that the formulary committee
makes, each piece of uptake information is crucial in determining
which products are being displaced based on the additions.
The syndicated study reports activity from a panel of 200+ Director's of Pharmacy that is representative of the universe of hospitals in the U.S. The report also provides the formulary status of selected drug classes on a rotating basis.
